Groove Persona began development during the Christmas holiday season of 2005. The band formed quickly in the short time of one and a half months. Once the original four members came together the “Jam Sessions” began. While writing their grooves for a period of six to eight months the band decided it was time to put them on tape. The recording period lasted for about eight months. During their “Jam Sessions” Groove Persona wrote enough music for at least three more albums. Carefully they selecting the eight that are on the debut album “Rain Drops.”

Groove Persona is a “Must-See, Must Hear” type of band as the music is somewhat in a class of it’s own. The four members combine influences from Connecticut, Alabama, Philadelphia and California. The idea is that when you mix the four elements together and combine them as one you get a dynamic sound. A new image that creates a new persona.
